workshops.
During that time the professional and amateur artists will exchange information and theatrical techniques, trying to help the theater groups to enlarge their view about the definition of theater. The 3 workshops will aim toward 3 major themes:
body expression,
voice
and
text
- as these are currently the highlights of the stage
Amateur theater groups always perform what they like. Is that not essential?
The amateur theater has to be a laboratory - it must experimentate and try to make everything different. Is it bonded in any way? No. Amateur theater tries everything plus the opposite. The encounter between amateur and professional artist does not have to be seen as a superior-inferior knowledge transfer - but as a spiritual growth.
